Ja, heerlijk he van die relish! Ik lust alle soorten relish, maar vooral de zoetere relish vind ik lekker.
Mijn schoonmoeder maakt haar eigen zoete relish, zij maakt het met courgetten, ajuinen en paprika's als ik me niet vergis. Het kan ook zijn dat ze er ook tomaten bij doet. Om het roder te krijgen denk ik je er dus tomaten moet bijvoegen ofwel veel rode paprika's. Ik vind het overheerlijk en het smaakt ook lekker bij hot dogs of hamburgers. Ik zie haar vanavond en zal het recept aan haar vragen. Als ik het recept heb, dan zal ik het hier plaatsen, ok?

Ik ga jouw egg nog maken! Ik heb een fles gepasturiseerde eieren gekocht, dat leek me veiliger. Volgens mij kun je diverse soorten alchohol gebruiken toch?
Ik moet voor de kinderen ook een niet alcoholische variant maken, laat ik dan gewoon de alcohol weg of voeg ik dan iets toe? En wat bedoel je: kan ook met chocolade? Bedoel je chocolademelk of strooi je er chocolade overheen?

kaneel of nootmuskaat
Bereiding;
Cognac,het ei(gepasteuriseerd),poedersuiker even mengen.Even door een zeefje halen en in longdrinkglas schenken,dan melk toevoegen.Strooi er nootmuskaat op of Kaneel.
Kan ook met chocolade,warm!(deze heb ik van Oma Canada)
Succotash van fiddleheads : ik heb gegoolged maar geen recept gevonden. Wat is het, kan ik het hier ook krijgen 8-)

Bedankt voor de goede suggestie, ik heb de paprika relish afgedrukt.
Natuurlijk had ik de recepten wel gevonden,maar ik zag door het bekende bos de bomen niet meer en wist niet wat te doen.
Mocht Ann het recept toch nog met mij willen delen, dan hou ik mij nog steeds aan bevolen.
Ik heb zelf al een recept met courgettes relish liggen, deze had ik in Canada al van een daar naar to geemigreerde Joegoslavische kennis gekregen, maar ik zocht de rode relish nog en dan niet de frats recepten maar de basis van alle rode.
Die is namelijk zoooooooooooooooooo lekker.
